My Opera

I wish to work as a Marketing trainee because the task surrounding this traineeship requires vast knowledge not only in the field of marketing but knowledge of ICT/Information Systems which my current studies can guarantee successfully. I wish to put to maximum use all the new ideas and knowledge (which covers usability, social media, mobile and electronic commerce, project management etc.) for the purpose of delivering the world to Opera Software. Apart from the fact that I have the fresh academic training required to excel in this traineeship, I equally have sound marketing experiences coated with excellent convincing and negotiation skills needed to win customers and improve the company’s revenue stream.

Just like it is no longer debatable that experience is the ‘best teacher’ regardless of how brilliant or not academic records may show, I am eager to learn and do something new in this traineeship because of the mandate of dominating the world put forward by the management. Imagination is not enough to meet this target, but rather grasping it is the mission which I strongly believe I can offer, thus, distinguishing me among all entrants for this opened trainee position. I am an advocate of ‘unlimited freedom to explore’ as been sold in this traineeship which is just the needed tonic to deliver value oriented result to both the company and customers alike.

I am the best candidate for the traineeship because I share the same philosophy of conquering the world with Opera Software and at the same time eager to create a niche for myself that would blossom my career in the future. I am already looking beyond the successful accomplishment of the objective of the traineeship, but rather, building on the valuable experience I will garner during the course of the traineeship. This explains my proactive, visionary, versatility, and resourceful personality. I speak and understood three different languages (Yoruba, Hausa & Igbo) which constitute the major ethnic regions in my country, thus, giving me another plus to capture the country for Opera Software. A combination of these features and my personal ambition stands me out among all entrants to fulfil the dreams and aspirations of the company, thus, elevating her status from where it is today.

From a literary perspective, opera can be described as a creative work of art that combines music and drama to produce scintillating sounds and unique performances. It thrives on team spirit, attentiveness, creativity, composure, and consistency. This concept of opera of mine is borne out of these features that make opera a unique genre of art. One needs to know it to feel it, love it to play/act it, and dearly work with the rest of the team to produce the great sounds and unique performances akin to it. So the key attributes of opera are team work, strong desire and perfection in playing with the tunes. Opera within the scope of this traineeship shares the same features with the art except for the fact that it aims higher to be a pacesetter in the internet world by providing a browser that is not only up-to-date but also capable of coping with the constant needs of the internet propelled by technological advancements.

Opera browser cares about the needs of users in terms of providing tested and trusted platform/browser that can serve the internet revolution that is constantly changing in leaps and bounds taking into consideration different devices used for browsing. Opera aims to match and overtake this feat with a robust, fast, cheap, reliable, safe browser which can simply be described as effective and efficient in all ramifications. In addition, it also aims to provide an avenue for people to oil and grease relationships considering the astronomical rise of social media which undoubtedly has occupied a precious place in the daily endeavours of people.

I aim to be part of the revolution which Opera is creating now because it has the potential to be the next browsing order as seen with other breakthrough technological innovations. Only a formidable and resilient character like me is suitable for the overall objective of the traineeship. I hope to be a part of this epoch era of Opera as a marketer of distinct record and success at the end.
